Beware of Falling Ice

Please be careful when you go out your front and back doors. There is a large amount of ice and snow on the roofs.

Also, if you can, knock off any snow that is on low hanging tree branches and shrubs. If we get another wallop of snow tomorrow there is a high chance that many branches will come down. Helping shake snow off of the trees will decrease that chance.

I also got a report of a big tree limb by the units that are near the LA Bar and Grill.

Please be careful.

I heard power could go out. Can residents go to meeting room to warm up since office has generator?

Reminder/warning to all: make sure you clean snow off your heating unit. The motor can blow out. And if you do laundry, your dryer vent outside must be clear to avoid sparking a fire.

Just in from AV Blast: Please be advised that some homes within Arlington Village will experience gutter damage due to the snow and ice accumulation. You will also see small to large ice mounds hanging from the buildings and gutters. Please avoid standing under any ice mounds, if you can reach any ice from your bedroom window, it would be very helpful to use a broom and remove the ice- please make sure that no one is standing below.

Management is aware of the concern and will address them ASAP. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation with this matter.
