Don't forget to attend tomorrow night. Plenty to talk about in the Village. Come hear what they discuss and what they plan to do around AV.

Any word on what happened at the meeting. Iheard it went until Midnight.

As uusal nothing. The Environmental Resource Committee spent more money on nothing and everything else got brushed off the table. Worthless - completely worthless.

How do you go to midnight and talk about nothing? I wish they would videotape these meetings so you could see actually what happens. I guess that would just hold people accountable though. Who'd want that?

Video or readable minutes on the website sound like a good idea. Who can stay up till midnight? Maybe they should meet twice a month if they cannot work things out in 3 hrs.

There are now 3 Environmental Resource Committee members on the Board.

$1,200 for pilot project from the ERC...They are going to have a mason build a partial wall in the ravine (or as I call it the mosquito farm)to see if it will work for the rest of the "creek" as a retaining wall. Oh, and the ERC got $200 for an Earth Day Party. What a waste of time and my money.

Agh!!! I'm tired of the board wasting my money!! Please stop the insanity and all of the worthless "green" projects!!

The ERC has two seperate line items in the budget...$2,000 regular committe budget and then an additional $2,000 or $3,000 just for their beloved ravine. You know, $3,000 to weed and plant trees IN THE WOODS!

Nothing is ever going to get done unless it's an environmental or "green" project. Don't waste your time with real complaints, like the fact the grass sucks or the website is useless....

The last person they put on the Board was also an ERC member. They've stacked the deck so they can do whatever projects they want in the ravine. If you don't like it go to the next Board Meeting in April and complain during Resident's Forum or go to the ERC meeting on the 9th and tell them! I'm all for a petition to tell them to stop wasting money. That $3000 to plant trees could go to something worthwhile like not increasing my condo fees. Where is the common sense in all this?

All of you whiners need to join a committee or run for the board and do something besides moan and groan about some of the most pathetic topics. Get off your lazy butts and GET INVOLVED!!!

The last time "new people" tried to run for the Board they were politely told to piss off. The board has been basically the same for years. Besides, from what I've seen,it doesn't matter is you join a committee - unless it's the ERC. How's that Communications Committee coming with the website the new management company offered? Anyone...? Anyone...?

The Board is not the same folks as always. Two new members were elected this past November: Brandie Davis and Carolyn McCornick. Also, Ryan Walker was reelected this year after serving one year in which he missed 3 meetings in a row and was deemed to have resigned.

Then this January, Michael Mandel resigned and Takis Karantonis was asked to take his seat.

So, 4 of the 9 members have servered less than a year.

'The board' might get better personnel if there was an incentive to be on 'the board'. The only reason those get on it now are to push personal agendas or so it looks nice on their resume. It does suck that these people have to be in these long meetings, and I'll at least give them kudos for sticking it out...but why the F would anyone volunteer to sit in a room for 5 hours listening to other people push their dopey ideas, other than to get their turn to push their ideas. Some 'board' members don't even live here!
