This blog is dedicated to expressing Arlington Village residents' feelings about our community. It is a blog for the people and by the people. Please give updates on your committee meetings, problems with the community, security issues and of course the great reasons to live in "the village".

I emailed and was told it would be delivered soon. I think this is a good project. The turf in arlington village after Wash gas came in has never been the same.
Do you know if AV is planning on letting Verizon come in with fiber optics?
There has been some discussion about it and I hope that they will. Its my understanding Verizon comes out and realizes that arlington village is complicated and it will be an expensive undertaking for them (units are not straight side by side but like a jig saw puzzle).
The phone company didn't forget how to wire Arlington Village. The shakedown of Verizon by the county politicians isn't done. Between that and the silly regulations about what tv channels you have to buy make it a long drawn out process that must be figured in to how much it's going to cost you when you do get it.
Don't worry, anonymous, it won't be long before you can sit mindlessly in front of your tv with your mouth agape watching hundreds of channels in wonderful clarity.
Please, please, please put grass seed in the courtyard behind 1415!
