Just a reminder that the Board Meeting will be taking place THIS Tuesday the 23rd. They will be discussing a new lighting project at 7 PM, then they will discuss the budget as well as replacing our management company.
Maybe someone can ask during resident's forum...why the Call for Candidates hasn't gone out yet? According to our bylaws...won't the election now have to be put back?

Are you kidding me? Come on, we all know the BOD only enforces the by-laws as they see fit or benefits their pet projects!
Does anyone know who is up for reelection this year? I tried to get a back copy of last year's crier but I can't find it on the AV website.
I read under the 8/27 blogger comments that there was a call for candidates to "go out next week." I guess if they get the annual meeting package out in time they'll be OK.
Oh... forgot to ask.... while re-reading the last blogger comments on the Aug meeting... Does anyone know if Kennemer is still out to cut down that poor kid's swing? I guess since Jan grew up in the Village in the last century, she only had rocks and sticks to play with. Call it "swing envy."
Read the comments on here...made me chuckle. Porta-johns, monkeys and crones. What a world!
I think both Jan and Jill are up for re-election.
I believe both Jan and Jill are up...as well as the open seat that is left from Ryan Walker being cut from the Board.
I believe the last poster was correct, however I want to say that Greg Mesack's seat is also opening up because his family is moving.
Well there are the three regular spots that should be open plus the guy they booted off, and then maybe Greg makes 5. Everyone must keep in mind that as a rule there are usually just enough candidates to fill the openings. So in other words, “everyone wins.” Even if there was an “excess” candidate it often was some loon. Remember the great Dick McMaster (sounds like a porn name I know)? Where is Dick these days...haven’t seen him hiding the shrubby lately. Also keep in mind votes are apportioned by unit size. (I’m talking condo...don’t let your minds wander.) Margins for election are razor thin. Candidate “A” could get elected with 25.278% and Candidate “B” could get in with 25.275%. If you’re looking to clean house people need to get together pick your winners. Splitting the vote will surely guarantee “no change.” Kinda like the US House. And I think you can withhold votes. You don’t HAVE to vote for a person for each vacancy. I’m thinking that one over in my head to see how it would alter the percentages.
Wow! I never knew it was so intricate? Does anyone know of someone wanting to run?
