S. Cleveland Street "Road Project" Update

So...is anyone wondering when this project is going to finish? The road is still a mess and they haven't repaved yet. Are they going to leave it like this all winter? How much of a nightmare would that be?

There is a contact name and phone number on the Arlington Village notice we received before this project started. I'm sure that contact would be able to give an update.

Sorry...if I ran for the Board...I don't feel like I could blog with reckless abandon. However, a few people have contacted me about getting time on the blog for their own campaigns. Their posts will be coming shortly.

I called the AV office today about the stalled construction. They did not have any idea about the timeline for finishing. The person I spoke to directed me to the phone number on the notice (which I threw away, sorry), and seemed unwilling to get anyone at AV to call them. It seems like AV would have a little more influence than an individual in pushing this along. There has barely been any work the last couple of weeks.

Their progress is really lackluster. Can't wait to see how much fun it will be to drive/park on the half done road when it is caked with ice.
