Best issue in a long time. All fact, no fluff. I see Jan retired her long hold on the BOD sec'y position. She needed a rest.
Agreed. Best issue to date.
Why did Jan give up that position? Did she do it by choice?is anyone concerned that the new Secretary doesn't know what she's doing?
Suggestion:
Blogger should establish a link for owners to exchange names of contractors they have used; the good and the ones to avoid.
Looking through the Yellow Pages is a joke but having someone in the neighborhood recommend a plumber, etc would be helpful.

Speaking of contractors, I want to install a washer/dryer but Phu Chung's estimate (I understand he has installed lots of w/d in the community over the years, seems a bit excessive -- $2000 not including the w/d. Who have people used?
I used Phu Chung and he did a good job. I paid about the same, which was the same as another estimate I received.
$2000 was the quote from Greenfield as well. Wonder if we have some price fixing in the village....
