Some commenters on this blog believe I must drive around the neighborhood looking for items to comment on each day. Well, I can truly say I do not. Who has time to do that especially during this busy time of the year?
Having said that, I want to point out I have not seen many holiday light displays up so far this year. Are people feeling the stress of the Holidays? Or have people just not had the chance to put the displays up? I guess I am looking for some holiday cheer.
Don't forget - the Arlington Village lighting contest is next week (December 14th) and the Holiday party is December 16th. 'Tis the Season to be jolly. I hope we see some spirit out there this month as we get closer to Christmas day (or whatever holiday you may celebrate this time of the year).

I'm feeling festive. But, like other AV folks, don't have an outdoor outlet, so can't have lights outside. Other decorating will take place this weekend though.
I saw you putting up cameras on Barton and Edgewood St.
You were in one of those golf carts and you were disguised, in a blue uniform...
Yes, that was you. I'm positive of it...
The seven foot aluminum tree is going up again this year at my place. So, for those residents of a certain age who want to relive some childhood memories stop by the 1021 courtyard and watch it spin.
above poster; that sounds like an invitation, what time? i'll bring the scotch.
Only if it is quality booze.

I don't have an outdoor outlet in front or in the back. I purchased an adapter that screws into the light fixture and converts it to a plug. There are two types - ones that convert to a plug, and ones that convert to a plug with a lightbulb. If I recall I paid $2 for mine at Cherrydale Hardware - they have them at Home Depot too.
Good to know, adapter person.
