Congratulations AV on the Crier and New Web Site

That's right...congratulations!!! The Crier came out in the first week of August plus we have a new web site. Good job Arlington Village.

The new website looks like a 3rd grader designed it! It's horrible, and it shows zero imagnation. Sorry.

It seems that the only responses of late are disingenuous at best, nasty and petty. Instead of always seeing the glass half empty how about stepping up to the plate and volunteering for a committee. If you can't do that how about shut up or move out!

"If you can't do that how about shut up or move out!"

ja mein Führer!!

Just so you know, the reason many people don't join these committees is that there are too many people like you on them, poster above.

Be a little more introspective and you'll understand my meaning.

Excuse me, but did you have a bad weekend?!

The new websites sucks!

That's not to be misconstrued as the world is coming to an end or you've been diagnosed with a terrible disease -- it's just to say that I'm surprised that with all the talent in-house it didn't look more polished.

Period.

Nothing more and nothing less. So, please, don't get your pants in an uproar.

Thank you, and have a great week.

"PDS" you sound more like "PMS.... ha, ha, ha....

It's really too bad that a potentially wonderful tool such as this blog has virtually been taken over by those who bring nothing to the table and who's responses are sophmoric at best. I agree with PDS - if you've got nothing nice to say maybe it would be best to not say anything or join a committee and try to change those things you don't like. This blog should be taken down as it offers nothing to or for AV and only allows this negativity to permeate a wonderful neighborhood.

Despite the poor grammar and spelling in the last post, its author is correct. We do have a great neighborhood, and the negativity of most of the posts are a turn-off.

A forum, where you knew the posters, would make more sense.

Sorry for all of the nasty comments. I'm pretty sure it is the work of one person. They have made it known far and wide that they do not like the blog. It bothers them that people have a way to communicate about AV issues and actually hear what is going on in our community. Whereas before many things were just slipped under the rug. I hope that the civilized people on the blog can just ignore that individual and continue having smart discussions about our lovely neighborhood.

That's nonsense AV Owner. I enjoy reading the blog and I love living in AV, but I also have an opinion.

The website (clearly someone feels like their toes were stepped on) is not what I was expecting. With all the hoopla surounding it's debut, I was expecting something professional; the website lacks imagnation. It's useful but then again, so was the old version.

I'm sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings. My comments were meant to promote discussion NOT ill will.

"I don't care if you hate me or love me...just read me."

That's what I'm talking about!!!

I think the website isn't that bad. It needs more content but it is more updated than what we had before. Once people get used to it and they use all the bells and whistles, it will be a lot more helpful.
