Lightning hit tree on Barton Street across from pool. It was really loud. Surprised it didn't catch fire.
My patio umbrella fell over.
Puzzles hid under the bed and I couldn't peep out in the rain.
Your peeper powers are impotent without the presence of Puzzles.

Lightning hit the transformer in the woods near WR community center. Flames shot out and that killed the power to our part of AV.
I don't think the winds were really that bad at AV though--seems we were spared the tree damage other areas suffered.
Minor Observation- on South Barton Street, on the side of the pool, there is a huge TREE that is LEANING to the side. Has the tree always leaned or has the crazy weather we have had this summer caused it (I ask both out of curiosity and if there is anything we need to do before it rolls into the children pool).
