This blog is dedicated to expressing Arlington Village residents' feelings about our community. It is a blog for the people and by the people. Please give updates on your committee meetings, problems with the community, security issues and of course the great reasons to live in "the village".

When did the signs go up? I first saw them sometime last week. Didn't we used to get about 2 weeks notice before they were due?
It's not the pool passes that were due on Monday, it was the applications for pool passes.
And yes, we used to get far more notice.
How much notice do you need to fill out 3-4 questions? Seriously!
If you need more time then I would suggest you work on your time-management skills.
In the time it took you to cry over "another problem at AV" you could have filled out the form and turned it in.
Don't be a complainer. Now, get off your fat asrce and fill it out.
Ditto!

Some of us travel internationally for work.
Some of us travel for leisure.
Some of us actually have to work--up to 80 hours per week and don't get around to completing mundane tasks.

.... in the time you just puked how important you are, you could have filled out the application for a pool pass!
Now, shouldn't you be spending your valuable time on something more important; packing?
Bon Voy Auge....
Oh! rev wahh to you, too.
Why can't you just acknowledge that there should be more time given to file forms?
Hey, dooosh; tell the truth. Do you urinate in the pool?
I'm the "international traveler"--apparently that struck a nerve with a shut-in.
I'd really like to know who the deranged AVers are.
Ms "International Traveler;"
Not a Ms. Does that change your perception?
Bon Voy Auge....
Comment? Do you mean bon voyage?
It's not that it takes a lot of time to fill out the form. It's that there is no way to easily get the form to the office. You have to either download it from the website and have the software to be able to type into the adobe file or you have to drop it off, or lastly fax it to them. Two weeks notice is not a lot of time for people that are traveling. It would have been nice to give people a month in order to get this done. There is no reason in the blog's mind that there should be a fine associated with this application. No application=no passes=no pool. It's that simple...why attach a fine to it?
There's also no reason to bash your neighbors. Everyone's circumstances are different. Just because you can anonymously say something to someone doesn't mean that you should abuse that privilege and be ugly about adverse opinions.
Have people received their passes, I still haven't received mine?
