Farmers Market On Sundays

Good news! The Sunday Farmers Market at the corner of Columbia Pike & Walter Reed will continue year around. This was published in yesterday's Washington Post. The hours are 9am - 1pm.
The Blogger has stopped by the market on several occasions and it is well attended. I wonder if Arlington has thought about expanding the market area into a larger space? That could attract more vendors and residents.

Finally something besides talking about the board election. I enjoy the market. Glad to hear that it will be year round. Arlington has great local vendors and it is a lot more convenient to go to the market now that the Giant is out of commission until who knows when...

What vendors do you like? I never know if I'm getting a good deal at a local market, or not. At Eastern Market, I have asked where they get meat from etc, and it's often from various sources. So what's the point?

I've always been suspect of some of the vendors at that FM.

If you look behind their trucks you always see box's of produce that looks like it been purchased Vs. grown.

I don't think FM are about getting "good deals," it's about feeling good purchasing goods from local growers; or at lesat we think they're local growers...

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.

I deleted my comments because they were rude, insenitive, out-of-line, mean-spirited, vulgar, and down right mean. I'm sorry if I offened anyone.
