Please make sure to send in your vote for the new BoD via your proxy ASAP!!!
Write-in candidates are permitted if an owner decides to not cast a vote for any of the current slate of candidates.
Anyone know what happened at the board meeting last night?
So help us out here dear Blogger-person. Yesterday we submitted information to be published on the blog that informed AV residents that they have additional choices (if they are not happy with the current slate of candidates): they could add a write-in candidate to the ballot. They can also attend the Annual Meeting on November 18, 2009 (a Wednesday) and nominate a candidate from the floor. So, dear Blogger, why did you choose not to post that information? Are you deliberately not posting that information--which is not hostile or ugly--to keep AVers in the dark? If that is the case, we know who you are and what your agenda is.
Sorry anonymous that the blog can't keep up with your comments that need to be moderated. Does the blog believe that you are the one that writes nasty comments...yes. Did the blog intentionally not put up that post about the write-ins...NO. Some bloggers have better things to do than check for comments every second of the day. The blog really doesn't think a 24 hour turn around time is that bad. Much better than you get with the cable guy.

We all know there is an option to write in candidates. That is why on my proxy is said "write in". I did send in my proxy. I thought about writing in my cat. Seems like he would have more common sense than than people like anonymous who post on the blog. I decided though that the candidates who are listed on the ballot, and who are interested in volunteering in AV, deserved my vote. And they received them.
I will not be at the annual meeting. I am sure it will be an entertaining event.
