Stinky Garbage Cans

Just wondering how everyone's garbage cans are smelling about right now? I received an email about the H Courtyard's garbage cans smelling to high heaven and the sighting of cockroaches. I believe the maintenance guys are supposed to wash out the cans when they take out the garbage. Anyone have insight to the procedure?

The trash cans in my courtyard (off Barton Street) are fine. They are cleaned every week and unless someone tosses food or dog poop in them, they typically are in good shape. What you're refering to is not a maintenance issue, but a user (owner) problem. In short, bag you garbage.

I didn't know courtyards were refered to in letters...

Were's "H" court, and why is it called "H" court?

Thanks.

they aren't. The giant courtyard, from the air, looks like the letter H.

Forgive me for being cynical; "H" court is where the pet owners refuse to p-up after their dogs. It's also know as the wild, wild west. I know. I live there.

You really think people won't pick up poop where they live? I think outside people come poop their dogs in Arlington Village and leave it.

Outsiders are always pooping on Arlington Village....

Stinky trash cans? How about some of these courtyards (renters) where people store all their junk either on the deck or between the deck w/o consideration of people around them.
