Do You Pick Up After Your Dog? (or cat)

I see this topic in the Crier all the time and someone posted about it in Wednesday's blog comments. The question is do you pick up after your animal? Do you think that AV residents don't pick up after their dog or do you think it is the surrounding dog owners that litter AV with their non-resident poop?

I know people get wound up around this topic so let's hear about it. Is there a certain location in the Village that has more attacks than others? If so, watch your step.

I pick up after my pet. I haven't seen any violators.

I pick up after mine... AND others as well.

There are few things on this blog that should be bagged and tossed.

Why start the whole pet feud again?

You pick-up "others" dog poop?

Really?

I NEVER p-up after my dog. I pretend, but never actually do it. It makes good fertilizer, and it's called recycling.

However, I do have a problem with dog owners who don't leash their dogs.

That's the big problem at AV.

I've picked up after other pets too. I wouldn't want people thinking since my dog was there that I was lazy and didn't pick up after her.

We have frequently had to step over dog crap not picked up by the dog's owners. Between the sidewalk and street, where we park, we've found pet crap that, had we not looked down, would have been on our shoe. It's happened several times this year and very frustrating. Pick up after your pets people.

Can we remove our post? How? Or did the administrator remove the post above?

I just removed my post. It was wrong, nasty and out-of-line.

Although there ARE many clueless idiots around, were I you, I wouldn't be so quick to make the charge.

Your language is atrocious and you are remarkably ill-informed.
