Arlington Farmer's Market

Just a reminder that the market is open every Saturday from 9am-noon (in the winter ... it's 8am-noon in the spring/summer/fall). Bring yourself, your neighbors, and your appetite. But remember, no dogs are allowed in the market.

Directions:

The Arlington Farmers' Market is located adjacent to the Arlington County Courthouse Parking Lot, at the intersection of N. Courthouse Rd. and N. 14th St.

I'm not sure when the market opens at the corner of Columbia Pike and Walter Reed. Does anyone know?

Just my two cents worth...

The Farmers Market is a huge ripoff!! And, overpriced.

Check behind their booths or vehicles and you'll see that most of their produced is shipped in boxes just like the big chains. And, they're NOT recycling...

Unless you're looking for goat testicles, you're better off going to Harris Teeter or Giant.

Thanks, and have a great weekend.

Happy Mother's Day to all you moms!!!

Please put your dog on a leash!!

You know who you are.

Maybe we should start naming names of the owners who refuse to leash their dog.

It's an AV and Arlington county law.

Thank you.

ALL YOU PEOPLE THAT HAVE WINDOW BOXES WITH FLOWERS IN THEM GET THEM OFF NOW OR I’M REPORTING YOU. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!

All you people who wear white before Memorial May better change your clothes or I'm reporting you. And don't think I won't be watching after Labor Day either because I will. I'll report you then, too.

You know who you are.

There are no AV "laws". Its called rules. Would someone please get all the cats under control? I personally think they are more of a problem than dogs off leases. They also make just as much of a mess as dogs do and I don't see their owners cleaning it up.

STRICT ENFORCEMENT OF THE RULES. ALL THE RULES. THERE ARE QUITE A FEW FOLKS THAT ARE STORING THINGS ON OUR BLESSED COMMON ELEMENT. I WANT ALL THOSE ITEMS PICKED UP BY TOMORROW. NO BBQ GRILLS, NO YARD DECORATIONS, NO FLAGS, NO LAWN CHAIRS, NO SOLAR LIGHTS. WE MUST CONFORM TO THE RULES. RULES REIGN SUPREME. THERE MUST BE ORDER IN THE STATE. WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE. REPORTS WILL BE FILED IN THE MORNING.

I know who is writing these creepy responses, and I will identify you if you don't stop immediately.

In the mean time, anyone who dosen't leash their dog, who allows their cat to kill song birds and if you have a flower box in your window, follow the rules or I will indentify who you are in the Wshington Post. I promise,

Thank you and God Bless Arlington Village

i saw a dead rat at the farmers market... behind one of the stalls...yuck...

I shudder to think of how many rats and mice we'd have if our kitty pals weren't allowed to do their jobs.

Suburban dogs, on the other hand, are utterly useless except in Frisbee tournaments and helping their owners get laid.

Hmmm, as I read the By-laws there are no 'laws' that could be construed to pertain to Window boxes...so get off your high horse, and try to correct whatever you were told to stop. I'm guessing it was a noise violation...how about you have some courtesy for neighbors who don't stay up until 2am...close your front door, don't linger in the courtyard blabbing after 10, and most of all, tell your 'guests' to shut up as they are leaving after 10!
