Where is the Crier?

Ok...it is December 11th? Almost 2 weeks into December and still no Crier. C'mon...is it really that hard to get a newsletter out? I know it is not Christmassy...to complain...but bah humbug...if the Crier doesn't have important enough information to get it out on time...than why even have it? Couldn't we put that money elsewhere?

I'm working from home and it arrived this morning.

First I've heard about a "new management company"! I recently set up direct debit with the soon to be ex-mgmt company!

The discussions about the new management company have been going on for a while, especially in the (very open to the public) board meetings. From the one board meeting I sat through in the fall, I was very confident that the responsible parties (Assets Committee/Board) did a remarkable due diligence job.

If it's not in an e-mail, or written in a letter dropped into my mailbox, I won't know about it. My job is double-time in summer and fall. I hardly have time to attend the meetings. Sick of the snarkyness.

The letter in the Crier says to set up new direct deposit they need to receive it by the tenth, to get it working by the next month. Is that why it came late? Will mailing today keep me from wondering where to send my check for January?

Excellent point...how do we pay for January?

They do put the board mins up on the website. Might be worth checking out if you can't attend the board meeting.

Will someone email the condo board president tomorrow and ask about the condo fees? I am confused too - and plan to get my form in this week. We'll probably get new payment books with the info pack the newsletter mentions will be delivered to us soon. Hopefully it'll be delivered a little more timely than this month's crier.

I have direct debit set up with the old company. I guess I'll have to call them to ensure they stop taking money out of my bank account every month, huh?
