If you haven't seen this already on signs around the Village or in the Crier...there is a budget meeting tonight! Come and find out what your condo fees are going towards.
This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard about things you think the Village needs...whether it be better storage rooms, better grounds work or dont' think condo fees should go up next year.

I could care less about the budget meeting?
Why?
Because residents have no input. Except when it comes to electing this group, and then, most owners don't take the time to vote.
You sit at these meetings and listen while they jumble the facts, screw-up the figures, and pretend like they like each other.
I'd rather stay home and bake brownies for my husband; he'll sit and listen to me.....
or else...
Especially those "special" brownies you make for him. Boom-chicka-boom-chicka-boom-boom.
Any serious comments on the budget? Once again, blubbering comments about nothing are the first ones posted.
I see the draft budget was on the AV GreenTeam site. Was it on the AV site? I think that would have been helpful. Not that I showed up, but if I had planned on going it would have been nice to review the numbers beforehand. Just a thought. If the ERC could do it, you’d think the office could have.
The administrative side of our office leaves a lot to be desired.
Who deleted my post indicating that the management staff does and excellent job?
And, why did you delete it Head Blogger?
This is a blog NOT your own personal agenda.
Once again, you delete comments that go against your "take" on our community.
That's ashame.
Let's talk about the three Board Members who voted in favor of increasing the ERC budget from $3,000 to $16,000! I can think of 20 things in the Village I would rather see done then more work on the "ravine." The ERC has the standard $3,000 committee budget and there is an additional $4,000 line item specifically for the "ravine,” what do they need $16,000 for? The Village already spent $1,000 or $2,000 for an "environmental project" - replacing the stone in the drainage ditch....
I'd like to see statistical and/or actual proof that spending money on the "ravine" increases my property value. Does anyone actually use the "ravine," other than the flasher?
Run for the BOD if you think you're so darn smart. If not, stop your moaning and groaning.
