Bike Room

Since the Crier has been such a hot topic...I'm sure you've read the front page story about getting rid of all bikes in the bike room that don't have AV stickers. I'd suggest for all you bike riders with bikes in the room to go check your stickers.

Also, if you have your bike in the bike room illegally...go get a sticker. No reason not to follow the rules. Right?

You have until Friday, July 31st to get your bike out or tagged. Afterwards, the bikes will be dontated to a charity.

A great charity would be Phoenix Bikes (see past posting). They are just down the street and do great work with the local community.

I've never heard of Phoenix Bikes before. I actually have an old bike that I was going to give to Goodwill. Thanks for the posting.

Speaking of transportation, how does everyone get to work?

I took the new ART 77 bus to Court House metro this morning. I was the only one onboard, and it took about 10 minutes! Much faster than taking the slow bus to Pentagon City or Pentagon and taking the blue line.

I drive to Tysons Ever day via 27/GW Pkwy then to 123. I took the bus to Pentagon metro one day to meet up with friends at a Nats game. Very convenient.
