Are you having a snow day today?

Are you stuck at home today? I have to admit that when I set off to work this morning it was not a nice feeling to skid right past the stop sign.

Does this ill fated weather mean no Board Meeting tonight? I think the meeting is this evening but alas the Crier was not posted for December so I have no idea what's on the schedule for January or February for that matter.

DAY 27 AND NO CRIER....I'd be happy with just an update page in my mailbox.

They flyers by the trash containers indicate the board meeting is tonight. I don't think they should waste money doing a crier now for Jan. Just save for February. Maybe the board will shed some light as to why they didn't get the crier out.

I know I'm off subject but did anyone get their coupon booklets? I guess I will have to trek to board meeting and ask for mine if everybody has theirs already.

first winter in the village.. is this the best they do with the sidewalks? It's a sheet of ice.

If it makes you feel better I almost fell down my stairs.

Maybe you two ought to stay inside when the weather is bad. Take an on-line science class, or something.

President Obama says that we need to toughen up!

The village sidewalks were a sheet of ice this morning, which was very usually as the village staff usually does a great job.

Do you mean unusual instead of usually?

I'm recovering from a neck injury. No way could I risk going outside.

It was an ice event. On top of the snow. Just what do you expect the crew in the village to do?

I expect some residents to get off their butts and help out. I have a shovel and did a half dozen of my neighbors decks and steps on the back. They did not have the ability to do it themselves. I also keep some salt around for my and my neighbors stoops in the front.

A little help from all of us goes a long way to make the village a community. Take some personal responsibility. Ice is never easy to deal with.

Well they could of used some salt after clearing the snow. That was their procedure last year. I do not have a shovel. Where would I put it in this tiny condo? They get salary and a bonus to work. Maybe that is what they should be doing. They should be happy to have a job with a bonus in this economic climate.

I can think of a place for you to put a shovel...

Or was that rhetorical?

But my real question is this: is there something wrong with you?
