How long did you have to wait in line?

Ok...I'm posting this early so that people can post how long they were in line. I'm assuming that most people have to vote at Walter Reed Community Center. So...let your neighbors know if they are going to be getting to vote quickly or whether they should be bring a book/and or an iPOD.

I got to the polling place at 6:15 and voted at 7:15. Not bad I guess. However there were McCain and Obama people right at the doors. I thought they had to be a certain distance away?

I plan on going at 3 PM.

I would gladly wait 4 hours if it means a restoration of civil liberties in the next 4 years.

I'd wait for the restoration of Cupcake's civil liberties, too.

Will Cupcake tell us when she gets them back?

I waited about 45 mins - not too bad. McCain is going against the tide though - guess we'll just have to wait 4 more years to get our taxes money back after all the democratic spending that's about to happen.

Took about 5 minutes at 11:45. A tax break will be nice since I am not rich like the 1% voting for McCain.

Took me about 5 minutes at 3:30PM. Oh and I don't consider anyone making $120,000 rich. Maybe if I lived in Iowa that's alot of money but in this town, give me a break.

Cupcake feels better today. Thanks for thinking of me.

Anyone who really thinks they will be receiving a "tax break" from Obama is dreaming. Its not going to happen. All that proposed government spending comes at a price.

And if you live in the DC area paying the price of mortgages or rent in the village you'll be considered one of the rich people.

When taxes go up so do prices. Don't think that big companies are going to pay out of the goodness of their hearts. They will pass it along to the consumer. Jobs will be lost, the rich will have less incentive to create jobs and prices will go up. Its a terrible cycle.

Government spending? Ha! Where have you been for the last 8 years?!
